Members of the FE-FC
Holden Car Club of Queensland joined us for lunch
today. What a great collection of old Holdens. They were a
testament to the tender loving care lavished upon them by their owners!

filling up with tanks of fermenting grape juice bubbling their way to

We've been a bit slack about posting

been busy!. Vintage began early in January this year because of
extremely wet conditions - great grape rotting weather. Not

we're complaining about the rain. Thanks again to our wine
club
members who helped pick our Viognier on very short notice.

2005 is sold out. For those of you with a fondess for this
wine, you'll have to wait until the New Year for the next vintage.
03-12-07 SILVER & BRONZE AT THE COURIER MAIL/SOFITEL QUEENSLAND WINE AWARDS
Our Opulent Organics Rose 2006 won a
Silver Medal at the Courier Mail/Sofitel Queensland Wine Awards.
This is the second commendation for this wine the first being
from James Halliday who gave it a score of 87/100. Our estate
grown and bottled Reserve Viognier also received a Bronze Medal.

This wine was only released a few weeks
ago and it has already garnered a silver medal! The wine hasn't even
settled down in bottle yet, so we're looking forward to future show
entries. Is a gold possible? Judging on how quickly the 2002 sold out
(in 8 months) and considering this wine has won a silver, you should
get in quick to get your allocation. A great wine for cellaring.
